Echoes of the Courtyard, Summer 2026
Growing up in India, the intricate geometry of jaal screens and ornate jharokha balconies were simply the backdrop of my life. It wasn't until I stepped away that I realized how deeply these spaces anchored me, and I felt the profound absence of their quiet beauty. Echoes of the Courtyard is born from that longing—an exploration of translating the architectural stonework of my childhood into soft, grounding layers for the home.
The Making of an Heirloom
Before a quilt can be hand-stitched, its story must be carved. Right now, master artisans are meticulously chipping away at teakwood, preparing the blocks that will soon be pressed into soft, breathable cotton. It is a slow, deeply physical process of building a modern heirloom.
