Our Story

Kuhu, The Store started as a personal obsession—every time I traveled to India, I found myself stuffing my suitcase with handcrafted home textiles, from floor cushions to Jaipuri Razais. Not just because they were beautiful, but because they felt like home.

I’ve always been drawn to products that tell a story—pieces made with care, by skilled hands, using techniques passed down through generations. After years of collecting, I realized I wasn’t alone. There are so many people who appreciate the warmth of handcrafted goods, the breathability of natural fabrics, and the beauty of traditional prints.

So, in 2024, while adjusting to life as a new mom, I took a leap—I left my corporate career and started Kuhu, The Store. A home decor brand built on the belief that what we bring into our homes should be meaningful, made with intention, and designed to last.

I’m starting with the Leher Collection, a range of hand block-printed home linens featuring the artistry of Jaipur. But this is just the beginning. My dream is to bring you thoughtfully crafted home goods from different parts of the world, made in small batches, working closely with artisans.

If you love home decor with a story, pieces that are timeless and made with care, I’d love for you to be part of this journey.
